I WANT TO SAY THAT I AM DAMN FREAKIN PROUD OF VJ CHOIR, THE YEAR TWOS AND ESPECIALLY THE YEAR ONES I LOVE ALL OF YOU TO BITS AND PIECES :D :D :D

Four victories, THREE TROPHIES (heeheehaahaaleloo :D) -

WINNER OF OPEN MIXED CATEGORY,
WINNER OF OPEN EQUAL VOICES (our damn cool male chorus),
1ST RUNNER UP FOR YOUTH EQUAL VOICES (our even cooler female chorus) :DD
THE JURY PRIZE. (Judges' choice!)

We departed for Thailand with a heavy heart. Like ohmygod, what are we going to do. We were so unprepared. Okay almost. With so little year twos. Sigh sigh sighh. And so we reached our hotel in Pattaya at around 1am. Plus exco/music co meetg til 3plus, and the next day was our Open Equal and Youth Equal voices competition zomg. And so we competed, hoping for the very very best.

The second day was the all awaited Open Mixed Voices category, the one that we needed so badly, to satisfy our own very high expectations of our pieces. It was heart wrenching and worrying. The atmosphere was so emo before the competition. We thought it was the last, the very last of it all, with the year twos. And so finally we competed. We did all we could, yeah we did.

Results was announced that very night. It was so intense, and scary. And it was sooo exciting. I have never experienced this in my life ever before hahaha oh my goodness. We were just hoping for the best. To all of our amazement and astonishment, when the results were announced, category by category, we all jumped up immediately after hearing our score :D Gold B for everything. :D I swear, I have never jumped so high up in my entire life before. I realised I was in the air for quite a long time. When I landed I almost sprained my feet. I was so happy. I cried tears of joy :D And seriously, I don't cry easily anymore. It just shows it meant SO MUCH to us.

We joined 3 categories. 1st for two, 2nd for one. ZOMG. :D

And following the annoucement of results we had to take part in the grand finals immediately. Grand finals = winners of all categories compete. That one was more of an experience. Nobody felt the adrenaline rush anymore. Somehow I feel like a part of me is gone, when Ill coro is not performed during a competition. But we had to do it for a good reason anyway.

And so we competed in the Grand Finals for the place of the Grand Champion.

After that night, WE ALL JUST LET DOWN OUR HAIR. LIKE WHOOOOAAAAA. Chingz, Mongz, Xianyong, Jeremy, Rayrin, Jialing, Lix, Wayne, Frederick, Danny and me. WE WENT MAAAAAAD :D I'll post photos soon okay. We did everything you can think of. We had some party and we were so high as if the world was spinning and twirling. Everyone was just behaving spastically. Okay maybe I did excessively. We sang loads of songs, national day songs, campfire songs, school songs, as we jumped and danced on the beds and took videos of every unglam thing we did. I jumped till I fell down the bed and it was because I lost balance and I HAD to fall but amazingly I fell damn slowly, and BANG I knocked my head against the other bed okay it was damn painful. Anyway not the point. We just shouted our hearts out although everyone had such a bad throat immediately after grand finals. Our moods just soared above the skies as our throats died and died even more. We were taking Music Videos of national day songs in the hotel room jumping on the bed starring Ching Chieh, Rayrin, Jiaming, Xianyong and me, thankyou. We pigged like crazy. We just kept eating and eating and drinking and drinking. It was like a pig sty. Slowly everyone knocked out and lie everywhere around in the room. But we never slept until damn late because everyone was still singing lying down even though they were already knocked out. HAHA okay I think the descriptions are too detailed but WHATEVER. This is the hotel room part.

After the announcement of Grand Final Results, where we got our Jury Prize, and lost the Grand Champion to a Phillipines Choir, but we had to give it up for them :D Of course, still, VJ choir, well done. :D After this was the poolside part of the madness in the night. And so we went to the beach and the poolside at night. We pigged again as we stared at the waves and hoping a tsunami won't come. Everytime the waves splashed up we went WOOO. That was part of our entertainment. Then slowly we started singing damn noisy songs like drunkards, then some random people joined us in singing. Then we started to dance whiney whiney and laugh to ourselves. Then we started to play with water. Then we started to fill bottles with swimming pool water. Then we started chasing each other around the pool and spray water. Then I started screaming damn loudly and run around the pool like a mad cow as usual. Before I knew it everyone was pouring water on me and I was thoroughly wet, thank you :D

Gah.

Too detailed again but HAHA I enjoyed it alot.

The Highlight of the Trip: CAM WHORING.

Siao. I tell you. Choir people. Are. Mad. They just. Take. And take. And. Keep. Taking. And Take. And take and. Take. Like just keep taking. But damn fun. :D

I can't believe I spent all my money. To think that I thought I wouldn't buy anything because Oh aiyah Pattaya shopping centre, everything Singapore also got what. Aiyah in the end I still buy..... Hahahah. SPENT ALL MY $$$ LEH, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. Then I was broke.

Anyway. I am happy :D Really happy. We sang the Victorian Anthem with such pride. We cheered our hearts out. I cried, i finally cried in a thousand years, on the night of Award Presentation, when we were all gathered at the lobby, after singing No Man Is An Island. Sigh. We've gone through SO MUCH with the year 2s, especially all the way from carolling. I will never forget everything we've been through together and all the spastic behaviours of every single one of the year 2s. Our model examples :D And yes, our pillar of support all the way til today. Sigh. Without you guys we'll be shit. Thank you Exco Music Co and everyone else sigh sigh sigh. I was so sad I don't know what was wrong. All the scenes from the very start of this journey replayed vividly in my mind, Christmas Carolling, SYF, SOV, Choir Room, and having zigallion loads of fun. I really felt it. :(
