Leaders Investiture 2006.
thank you, thank you so much prefect councillors.
thank you for all your effort.
everyone could tell how much blood and tears and sweat gone into the decorations, the rehearsals, the precious times spent.
every single moment spent on preparing this investiture was worth it.
it was worth it.
everyone of you rock.
without the people, nothing would be possible.
march holidays!
it was when the real work started.
item prep sttarted, committees starting working, very very hard.
deco comm, painting, buying materials, drawing, cutting, pasting, glueing, sitting in the hall for more than 4 hours everyday just to complete the beautiful banner.
they worked really really hard.
they were stressed out by it,
they were overjoyed by it,
they were everything that could happen to it.
on 24th march,
NOTHING dropped.
ALL was intact.
EVEYRONE was full of praises for it.
they could see all the hardwork in it.
they really did.
and you guys succeeded.
it was BEAUTIFUL, a FANTASTIC job done, deco comm.

HOW MUCH I LOVE IT COMM.
saw the 5 people in the video today?
they are the producers of the video.
they are the ones behind all the songs played during the walk ins, all the videos and the beautiful pictures taken, all the wonderfully photoshopped photos.
remember starting off with a meeting at the 2nd level empty corridor?
planning, brainstoring, and getting all excited about the long awaited leaders invest.
when we had totally no clue, not the slightest idea where to start with.
then we decided to venture into something we had never tried before. i have never ever too.
what a risk we were taking.
staying up was sth i really didnt expect to do.
at least not till so late.
there were times we slept at 4.30am.
during school term, we stayed up a few nights till 3.30am.
but no matter how late.
you guys would still be online
motivating each other
cheering us on
chionging together
cracking lame jokes
stressing each other out
crying out for help
and perservering through all these tough times together.
there was homework undone.
there was revision which we never touched.
but still,
no matter how tired we were
we didnt gave up
WE CARRIED ON.
we believed we could
and we believe it would be a success.
ZHENLUAN, SINING, SARAH, BIRU.
how much more can i thank you guys?
what more should i ask for?
through all these i got to know those mad sec threes more as well.
and i started to believe in my friends all over again.
all over again, from the start.
it was the togetherness that made us stick together.
made you guys stay at my house till such late hours
just to complete the video.
it was the togetherness that brought us closer.
much closer.
to be able to find out for myself,
what kinda friends i actually have around me
what i should actually treasure and cherish
what true friendships that actually lies beneath it all.

occasional encouragements which would appear in my phone in the middle of the night x)
everything could just be said like this:
i dont know how much i owe you guys
i just know, i want this debt to remain
so that i can never, ever, stop returning these wonderful memories that we share with you, CPB.
i want it to last.
i know things wont be my way.
but it would always be my way in my heart.
it WILL last in my heart
until i die.
i DO make my own fires when the world is cold, sining.

LEADERS INVESTITURE 2006 was a SUCCESS.
nothing would be possible without you, guests.
you once again proved our stand, gave us a strong sense of accomplishment.
you played a big part.
